It all started when I was about 12 years old….I finally won out 1st chair playing what I called “Lead Recorder” which allowed me to pick the instrument of my choice for the school band…I remember grinning with a huge smile as I told the band leader “I want to play drums!!!” and he stated “WONDERFUL!!!!”

The next day he introduced me to the school band and said “Attention everyone” (It echoed throughout the auditorium) I was beaming ear to ear (thinking to myself…I’m a drummer!!) as I heard him announce… “I want you to meet our new band member…his name is Vaughn…he is our new Tuba Player!” I jumped for joy…..screaming out for all to hear…. “Your new Tuba player….Your New Tuba Player!” NOOOOOOOOOO (I can still hear it echo in my head)            

That’s when I realized that life was not a large bowl filled with Captain Crunch and Vitamin D milk…

Three years later my mom bought me my first guitar...an ARIA ES-335 and a Marlboro 15 watt amp…she said I know you wanted a drum set but maybe you will like playing guitar…try it….so I did and she was right…so now after many years of playing guitar I have finally been blessed to meet up with my musical rockin brothers Randy, Joel and Ken….and we get to live a dream each and every time we play out….
